Lincoln's Legacy: The Many Faces of the 16th President

This lecture is part of the Dialogues of Learning Lecture Series, presented by the College of Arts and Sciences.

The year 2013 marks the 150th anniversary of some of the most important events in Lincoln's life and career, including the Emancipation Proclamation, Battle of Gettysburg and the Gettysburg Address. This historic occasion compels us to examine the many sides and little-known traits of our greatest and most complex president.

Robert Watson is professor of American studies at Lynn University, the author or editor of 34 books on American history and politics, and a popular commentator for print media, radio and television.
